I love this piece in today’s New York Times Travel Section, “Where Heaven and Earth Come Closer” by Eric Weiner.  He writes about finding the “thin places” on Earth where “we are jolted out of old ways of seeing the world.”

Discovering a thin place is what makes travel so exciting. As Weiner explains, thin places can be sacred spaces like churches or temples, or not. They are just as likely to be in a holy place as in the middle of a busy city or in the middle of nowhere. And while they may be different for different people, you’ll know right away when you enter one.

This place is called Bit O’ Heaven and you can see why.
